Balmoral five start hotel

Weddings at The Balmoral
The Balmoral Hotel is a five start luxury palace. It’s in the middle of Edinburgh and has a great view of the famous and historical Edinbrugh Castle. It’s Victorian architecture, but with a bit of Scottish mixed in there too. It’s romantic and has become popular for weddings and other events.
The Bollinger Bar is a perfect place to have your reception at. The bride and groom will also be offered a fantastic bed and breakfast deal. The Balmoral Hotel has a license for religious as well as civil ceremonies. The venue can comfortably fit from 40 to 260 people. This splendid location has even been named in Conde Nast Travellers Gold List as one of the best hotels in the world, because of its great location and view.

Skibo Castle
Another place you might want to consider for your big day is the old Skibo Castle. It overlooks Dornoch Firth in Scotland, and it’s been specially set up for weddings and similar events. The singer Madonna also chose to have her wedding here, when she married the movie maker Guy Ritchie.

Skibo Castle
The Skibo Castle goes a long way back. It’s 12th century architecture. It is called Schytherbolle in the Scottish Gaelic language. In English it has also been called Fairyland, because of it’s beautiful and romantic ambience. It’s the perfect place to make your vows and start your marriage off right.

HMS Belfast
If you want a slightly more original and unique wedding venue you may be interested in the HMS Belfast. It’s the old World War two battleship. It has since been preserved and is now used as a museum to show the interior of the old ship. It still contains all the battle gear and if it’s a ‘military’ wedding then this might be the best place you could possibly have it.

Vows can be said in the ships large dining hall or if the weather permits it could even be up on deck, as could the wedding reception. The after party can be held in the officers’ quarters on board the ship.
London Eye
The London Eye is arguable the most modern and original location you could ever tie the knot. It’s magical and adventurous.
It is probably best for smaller weddings, as the amount of people would have to be slightly limited.
To keep it personal you could get a caterer that reflects the personal tastes on the groom as well as the bride. You could get large cocktails glasses, and delicate china, and include different themes and colors to decorate. And you will be able to taking in the breath taking view of London from above.
