The Tradition of giving Wedding Favours

It has been an all time tradition to present the guests at a wedding ceremony with wedding favours. Although, such gifts were not named as wedding favours in the past but the practice was exactly the same as we do now with wedding favours. Historically, Europeans used to give a gift named as bomboniere to the guests of a wedding. Such gifts were presented to guests not only at wedding occasions but also at some other celebrating occasions such as birthday parties, baptism etc. The modern day wedding-favours have been derived from the same centuries-old bomboniere concept.

This was essential to us since we are getting married in Italy and wanted where possible to keep the italian theme. What’s more the almonds are also handmade in Italy using a 300 year old recipe

The Favour Gallery at the Asian Bride Show 2009

We were absolutely delighted to see all our Asian Brides at the Asian Bride Show at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of 24th and 25th January 2009.
