Our Story
The search for elegance
We decided to create The Favour Gallery following the search for wedding favours for our own wedding in 2002. The majority of couples spend a great deal of time planning and organising what is one of the most important days of their life and we started 2 years prior to our big day. Beautiful flowers were ordered, wonderful food tasted, a bespoke gown created and fabulous venue hired. We then reached the “Wedding Favours” section of our “to do” list.
Amongst all the planned sophistication came the endless choice of mass produced favours. We wanted something really unique. It was whilst we were in Italy that we discovered the luxury favours you can now exclusively buy on-line in the UK at www.thefavourgallery.co.uk
Our favours are “Made by Hand”. They are elegant and sophisticated, and your guests will be delighted to see something beautiful harbouring Sweet Italian Almonds or mouth-watering Chocolate Dragees.
We received so many compliments on our wedding day that we have now decided to allow brides living in the UK into our wedding favour secret. Whenever we visit friends there is always one of our favours on display in their home.
The History
Since 1783
Our Favours are created by the most famous “Confetti” (Confetti in Italian means Sugar Almonds) producer in Italy. Each favour is hand-made in the factory in Italy by a team of very dedicated and skilled women. Their craft is often handed down from generation to generation. In the past, other favour makers have tried to copy our Italian favours. They have always been unsuccessful in copying the quality. How can anyone replicate over 200 years of history?
Almonds have been the family business since 1783 and these world-famous, prize winning almonds continue to be made by hand in a four day process using a recipe which is over 300 years old. They also continue to use much of the original equipment. They are made without flour or other starches, making them absolutely delicious.
Wedding favours should provide your guests with a lasting reminder of your unforgettable Wedding Day. Your favours should be something that guests would wish to keep and display. They are an important part of the whole wedding tradition.
Italian Tradition says that the almonds represent - Health, Wealth, Happiness, Fertility and Long Life and the odd number of Almonds mean it cannot be divided – like the couple. English Tradition says each almond represents Health, Wealth and Fertility. Go with one of these.. Or why not start your own tradition “Health, Happiness, Wealth, Long Life and Love?”

Our Consultant Service
Our favours are created to order when you have made your choices from our Favour Gallery Store. The delivery time is usually 6 to 8 weeks after placing the order due to the handmade process. Maybe you cannot decide? You could choose from several different designs, the minimum order per favour design is 20.
Please contact us if you require any samples. Maximum sample order is 2 per customer and we do have to charge our Gallery Store price. Your sample will be the particular item design you wish to order with a swatch of material in the colour you require. Due to all our products being handmade in Italy, it is impossible for us to stock all of our favours in every single available colour. If we were able to stock every colour our products would have to be mass made out of Europe.
Why not add a box of Almonds or Chocolate Dragees to your order and offer them to your guests? In Italy, the Bride often visits all her guests with a silver bowl of Sugared Almonds. She offers the almonds to her guests using a large silver spoon. It is a great opportunity to make sure you speak to everyone on your special day.
We have many different coloured favours. Have you decided on an Autumn or perhaps a Winter Wedding with a roaring log fire at your venue? Would the vibrant reds appeal to you? Maybe the image in your mind is a pure, cool look for your Spring or Summer Wedding, with white plates and sparkling crystal glasses? Our white’s collection could be for you? Maybe you would like our Favours to pull together the colour of your bridesmaid’s silk dresses or the Roses in your bouquet? The choice is yours.

Orders normally take 6-8 weeks for delivery due to the hand-made process, but if you require a more urgent delivery please contact us. We will do everything we can to proceed with your order.
Not just for weddings
Favours are also popular and add that extra special touch to Wedding Anniversary Parties, Christenings, Baptisms, First Communions and Confirmations, Children’s Parties, Christmas Parties, Valentine’s Day, Easter and Baby Showers. They can be given at parties or as a gift in their own right.
